Whether you’re facing depression, treatment-resistant depression (TRD), or major depressive disorder (MDD), we’re here to understand what brought you here — and to help you find a new path forward.

Why SPRAVATO®?
For many, depression is not a single moment or diagnosis — it’s a journey marked by persistence and resilience. Yet, when multiple antidepressants fail to bring relief, the path forward can feel uncertain.
SPRAVATO® offers a different approach.
Unlike traditional antidepressants, SPRAVATO® acts on the glutamate system, helping restore neural connections and potentially offering rapid improvement in mood — sometimes within 24 hours of the first treatment.
For appropriate adults, SPRAVATO® may help:
- Improve mood and reduce depressive symptoms
- Increase energy, focus, and motivation
- Support stabilization during acute suicidal crises
- Offer new momentum in long-term treatment-resistant depression
SPRAVATO® is used alongside an oral antidepressant and administered only in a certified medical setting to ensure safety and support throughout the process.
What the Science Says & the Research Shows
Many individuals living with depression have tried multiple antidepressants without finding full relief. In fact, approximately one in three people with depression experience treatment-resistant depression — meaning traditional medications alone have not been enough.
In 2020, in the state of New York alone, one in six adults age 18 or older reported a diagnosis of depression in their lifetime.
SPRAVATO® represents a new class of antidepressant therapy that works differently from SSRIs or SNRIs.
SPRAVATO® has been studied in both short- and long-term trials for adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD). Here’s how patients responded over time:
Within 24 Hours:
A Rapid Start Toward Relief
In multiple clinical studies, patients treated with SPRAVATO® — either alone or in combination with an oral antidepressant — showed a reduction in depressive symptoms as early as 24 hours after their first dose.
By Week 4:
Superior Results in Short-Term Trials
Patients who received SPRAVATO® plus an oral antidepressant experienced greater symptom reduction than those receiving an oral antidepressant plus placebo
Patients who received SPRAVATO® alone also had superior outcomes compared to those using a placebo nasal spray
At 18 Months:
Supporting Long-Term Stability
In a long-term study, patients who stayed on SPRAVATO® were less likely to have their symptoms return than those who stopped treatment.
These findings suggest SPRAVATO® can play a role in helping maintain emotional and clinical stability over time
