Refer Patients for SPRAVATO®
Collaborative care for patients with depression.
SPRAVATO® can offer a new treatment pathway for adults living with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and major depressive disorder (MDD) with acute suicidal ideation or behavior. At New York Integrative Psychiatry, we partner with psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and behavioral health professionals to deliver SPRAVATO® within a collaborative model of care.
We believe the strongest outcomes occur when innovative treatments complement, not replace, the therapeutic relationships already in place.
- Have tried two or more antidepressants without adequate response
- Continue experiencing significant depressive symptoms despite appropriate treatment
- Meet FDA-approved indications for treatment-resistant depression
- May benefit from a different therapeutic approach while continuing comprehensive psychiatric care
When to Consider Referring a Patient
SPRAVATO® may be appropriate for adults who:
A referral allows our clinical team to complete a comprehensive evaluation and determine whether SPRAVATO® is clinically appropriate.
A Collaborative Model of Care
At NYIP, referrals are the beginning of a partnership, not a transfer of care.
Throughout treatment we coordinate with referring providers to help ensure continuity, including:
Initial consultation findings
Treatment recommendations
Progress updates (with patient consent)
Ongoing communication when clinically appropriate
Our goal is to support your patient while preserving the therapeutic relationship you've already built.
